This Just-In! Justins’ On the Back End-No Justin No Peace- the Fight For Justice

No Justin..No Peace!

It’s cool when they do it but it’s a problem when our elected officials refused to be silent. “This is what democracy looks like” a chant yelled out by P. Moses after Justin Jones exited the building where he was voted back into his District #52 seat by the Davidson County Metro Council as he marched back up to the same state legislature he was expelled with, Justin Pearson and Gloria Johnson.

Justin Pearson was also voted back by the Shelby County commission he gave a sermon thanking his God for standing up to white supremacy.

Congressman Steve Cohen and Vice President Kamala Harris both spoke out against theinjustices. Grassroots group from all over led by the Equity Alliance cohorts members organized rallies for dissent and marched back into the legislature to reseat the Justin’s. #blacklivesmattermemphis #wewontbesilencedanymore.
